Buses from Saint Lucia Airport with Bus Routes and Times

Approximately 50 kilometers separate the Saint Lucia Airport and the heart of Castries. The trip from the airport to Castries takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Bus Services at Saint Lucia Airport

Taking a bus from Saint Lucia Airport to Castries is the most affordable option. The airport is on Route 2 of the municipal bus system.

It will cost you $8 ECD, or $3, to take the bus from Saint Lucia to Castries, and you should pay the driver directly in cash.

On average, a bus ride from St. Lucia's airport to the heart of Castries takes 1 hour and 30 minutes. Vieux Fort at the airport is the first stop on the bus's route, and Castries is the final.

From Castries, frequent bus services reach every other town and village on the island. The buses are privately owned (not government-funded), as shown by their green license plates with numerals beginning with "M" as in "M456."

From the East Coast road outside of the airport, public buses occasionally run to various locations around St. Lucia. Due to the infrequency of the minibus service, this is not a practical option for airport travel.

It's possible that the time spent waiting and the lack of details will cancel out whatever money you save. It's normal and acceptable to rideshare in a minibus.
