Ferry Services in Saint Lucia

Saint Lucia Airport, also known as Hewanorra International Airport, is located close to Vieux-Fort and where longer-flight passengers arrive.

You can expect to spend about 90 minutes on the road between Hewanorra and Castries. Castries Port, located in Saint Lucia, is used by ships.

Ferries in Saint Lucia

Ferries travel between the Martinique cities of Castries and Fort-de-France. Although yachts are welcome to dock at Castries, customs clearance is required before they may do so.

Boats are required to anchor at the quarantine dock to wait after the customs area is filled; those that do not do so are subject to a fine. After that, yachts are free to drop anchor in front of Castries Town or Vigie Creek.

Castries is a prominent cruise port in St. Lucia. They dock at Pointe Seraphine, north of the port.

Cruise Ships in Saint Lucia

St. Lucia's primary cruise port is situated on a picturesque harbor near Castries, the island's most populous city and capital. It is home to two primary piers in addition to its Terminals.

The La Place Carenage Cruise Port Terminal may be found in the heart of downtown Castries. At the same time, the Pointe Seraphine Cruise Port Terminal can be located on the northern side of the bay.

About 1 mile to the north of Castries is where you'll find Pointe Seraphine. It shouldn't take more than twenty minutes to make your way to the heart of Castries via a pleasant stroll along the water's edge.

Even though the bay is sufficiently broad to accommodate huge ships, mega cruise liners such as the Queen Mary II may be required to anchor outside the bay. Anchoring ships must send their tender boats to convey passengers to and from the La Place Carenage Cruise Terminal.
